​​​SCHOLARSHIP

The Theta Eta Chapter Fund is an endowed fund managed and administered by the Sigma Chi Foundation with the intent being that earnings are used for educational purposes.  The fund has been used since 2001 to provide scholarship awards to undergrads and to build, maintain, and furnish the chapter study room.  Over the 2022 -23 school year our alumni donated $34,802 to our annual scholarship appeal; our alumni have made gifts of $248,216 over 19 years of this annual campaign.  As of the awards earned for the Fall 2023 semester, we have presented 238 scholarship awards totaling $60,400 and the fund has provided a total of $63,592 in support of the chapter scholarship program.

$350 awards are given each semester for
​superior academic performance:

  • High Active Member Grade points (two awards)
  • High Pledge Gradepoints
  • 4.0 Award (anyone with a 4.0 and 14 or more credit hours)
  • Most Improved GPA

$700 award for:

  • All graduating seniors with a 3.25 cumulative GPA or better

The cumulative GPA award is intended to recognize brothers who have consistently performed well academically throughout their college career.  It is given during their final academic year prior to graduation to recognize their dedicated pursuit of the high ideal of learning.
